Looking for a place to shop and grab a snack to eat?

Café Stanford invites you to join them at the back of Overberg Agri Stanford, the onsite coffee shop open for breakfast, light lunches, and homemade delights.

With travel restrictions still in place – South Africans are encouraged to take a “sho’t left” and explore the beauty in their own backyard. If you haven't visited Stanford recently - this picturesque holiday town should be at the top of your list.

Breakfasts named after beautiful surroundings, the Klein River running through it, Mountain views, and just 30 minutes from the seaside town of Hermanus, Stanford and its beautiful surrounding areas are ideally located for couples and families looking for a relaxing getaway.

Introducing
our friendly*
feathery friends

Why did the chicken cross the road? To steal your piece of toast of course!

From anticipating future events to recalling the trajectory of a hidden object, chickens are incredibly smart. They even possess self-control, holding out for a better food reward, and can assess their own position in the pecking order—both characteristics of self-awareness. Chickens may have wings and fluffy feathers, but they're fairly dismal fliers, often going airborne for only a few yards before landing, just keep this in mind and be nice to the chicks.

The most basic way to communicate with our flock is by chatting with them. While they're out and about free ranging, engaging in lively clucky conversations, it is quite an egg-straordinary experience. Chickens do have a LOT to say!
